Effective Date: [Effective Date]

This policy covers this website only. If you become a therapy client, your health information is protected under separate, stronger rules described in the HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices. Please do not submit health information through this website.

Peaches Mindcare (“we,” “this practice”) operates peachesmindcare.com. Peaches Mindcare is a fictitious business name (DBA) of Moonstone Recovery, Inc. This policy describes what information the website collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

  • Contact form. If you use the contact form, we receive the information you enter: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the service you are interested in, and your message. Please keep messages general — do not include health details.
  • Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps, used for security and troubleshooting.
  • Cookies and analytics. The site may use a small number of cookies and [Analytics Provider] to understand general site usage (e.g., which pages are visited). This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.

How We Use Information

  • To respond to your inquiries and schedule consultations.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the website.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We Do Not Sell or Share Your Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or advertising. Website analytics and advertising trackers from social media platforms are not used to build profiles of visitors to this site.

Third-Party Services

The website relies on a small number of service providers to function: [Hosting Provider] (website hosting), [Analytics Provider] (aggregate usage statistics, if enabled), and Google Fonts (typography). Links to external sites (such as Psychology Today or the crisis resources listed on the contact page) are governed by those sites’ own privacy policies.

Cookies and “Do Not Track”

You can set your browser to refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent; parts of the site will still work without them. Because there is no common industry standard for “Do Not Track” browser signals, this website does not currently respond to them; we treat all visitors with the same minimal data collection described here.

Your California Privacy Rights

California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to request correction. This solo practice falls below the CCPA’s business thresholds, but we honor these requests voluntarily: contact afaille@moonstonerecovery.com or (619) 535-8567 and we will respond within 30 days. We will never discriminate against you for exercising a privacy request.

Children’s Privacy

This practice provides therapy to children and teens, and their parents or guardians arrange and manage that care. This website, however, is intended for parents, guardians, and adults — it is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the site. Please do not have a child submit the contact form; a parent or guardian should reach out on the child’s behalf. Information about a child’s actual treatment is protected under the practice’s Notice of Privacy Practices, not this website policy.

Data Security and Retention

The site is served over HTTPS, and access to contact form submissions is limited to the practice. Inquiry emails are retained only as long as needed to respond and follow up, then deleted. Server logs are retained by the hosting provider per its standard schedule.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
